I worked with Danielle Cadet, then Managing Editor at Refinery29, to develop and shape the concept for Go Off, Sis, a podcast born from Refinery29’s Unbothered community. Together, we built the editorial POV and tonal direction for a show designed to speak directly to the realities, humor, ambition, vulnerability, and joy of modern Black women.

We then partnered with My Black Is Beautiful, Procter & Gamble’s haircare line celebrating the diversity of Black identity and beauty. Through that collaboration, we created an original podcast platform that amplified stories with cultural impact—not by explaining Black womanhood to others, but by holding space for Black women to speak to one another.

Hosted by Laurise McMillan, Danielle Cadet, Raven Baker, and Channing Hardgrove, Go Off, Sis centered real conversation—navigating work, relationships, identity, self-care, and community with honesty and ease. Our creative development and launch strategy helped establish a foundation that the show continues to build on
today.
